Now i have quiet often young people knocking on my door desperately trying to sell a subscription, what's the purpose if I have nothing to read about my community? As financial advisor i suggest to reduce unnecessary expenses on anything, that of course will include newspaper subscription.. Of course everyone has to make their own choices in this matter. As frustrated as I get with the Chron I haven't yet gotten to the point where I want to cancel my subscription...yet. We have little or no control over the decisions of others yet must cheerfully (?) live with these decisions and pay for them financially and otherwise (with increased fees, lack of or decreased services, more subsidized housing filling our neighborhood. etc.) Thanks Chronicle for nothing. Your paper hasn't done much for us lately anyway. Guess it's time to pull that subscription once and for all.
